Módulo 1 – Interecting as a pilot
Você será posto em determinadas situações onde você fará o papel de piloto. Ouvirá os áudios e deverá cotejar as informações.
Essa parte da prova é dividida em 8 Passos
Passo 1 – Avaliar o cenário em que o avaliador te colocar.
São um total de 8 cenários possíveis, veja abaixo.
- Cenário 1 – Clearance
- Cenário 2 – Taxing
- Cenário 3 – Takeoff
- Cenário 4 – Departure
- Cenário 5 – En route
- Cenário 6 – Descent
- Cenário 7 – Aproach
- Cenário 8 – Landing
Passo 2 – Instrução limpa do ATC – (Ouvir o áudio da instrução).
Será tocado um áudio com instruções limpas do controle referentes ao cenário em que se encontra.
Passo 3 – Cotejar as instruções (Readback).
O candidato deverá cotejar as instruções do controle.
Passo 4 – Apresentação do problema (leitura ou figura).
Será apresentado pelo avaliado um problema ao candidato.
Passo 5 – Informar o problema ao ATC.
Informar seguindo os seguintes passos.
A – Chamar e se apresentar.
B – Informar o problema.
C – Solicitar algo ou informar o que o avaliador pedir
Passo 6 – Crosscheck do controlador com instruções.
Será tocado um áudio onde o controlador irá pedir confirmação do problema e o controlador poderá passar também novas instruções.
Passo 7 – Confirmação do piloto ou correção.
O candidato deverá confirmar ou negar a confirmação do controle e cotejar as instruções se presentes.
Usar “Afirm” se a confirmação do controlador estiver correta e “Negative” se a confirmação estiver errada.
Passo 8 – Avaliador pergunta o que o controlador disse.
Será feita a seguinte pergunta – “What did the controller say?” e o avaliado devera informar ai avaliador o que o controlador disse.
Possíveis cenários
Entender o cenário em questão é importante para que você já tenha em mente as possíveis instruções do controle e problemas que o avaliador te apresentará. Por exemplo, se você identificar que o avaliado te colocou num cenário de decolagem, você vai esperar autorizações de decolagem, valores de vento, pista em uso, QNH e instruções pós decolagem. Jamais será tocado um áudio com instruções de pouso se você tiver num cenário para decolagem. Fique atento!!!

Clearance
Expect start up at 30, Runway 20, You are cleared to Florianópolis via Upper Whiskey 19, flight level 240, Juca departure, Paulo transition, Squawk 3468.
Taxiing
Clear to taxi via taxiway Bravo. You are number two for departure. Follow the boeing 737 taxiing on Charlie taxiway. When approaching holding point contact tower on frequency 118 decimal 20.
Takeoff
You are cleared to take off Runway 20, windy 120 degrees, 08 nots, gust at 20 nots. QNH 1018.
You are cleared to take off Runway 20, windy 120 degrees, 08 nots, gusting up 20 nots. Altimeter setting 1018.
Departure
Mantain runway heading climbing to 4 thousand feet, after turn right to João intersection. After passing five thousand feet call controller on frequency 123 decimal 38.
En route
Mantain altitude and report in Ronda.
Descent
You are cleared to descent via Juca uno alpha arrival, flight level 120. Adjust rate of descent to two thousand feet per minute. you are number five for landing.
Approach
Descent to flight level 100. When reaching flight level 100 turn right to Taylor intersection. You are clear to ILS Z runway 20 L.
Landing
Cleared to land, runway 21 right, windy 180 degrees, 10 nots.

Como relatar os problemas para o controle
Em algum momento você vai precisar informar algum problema ao controlador. Para relatar um problema use uma das estruturas abaixo:

Como solicitar algo ao controlador
Em algum momento o será necessário solicitar algo ao controlador. Para solicitar algo use as seguintes expressões.
“REQUEST” or “NEED” or “DECIDED”
